Indoor portraits and bridals with Sheerrose florals

For the longest time, I've been wanting to get creative in an indoor space. I'm very fortunate to have my own condo in Daybreak, Utah. As a single mom, this was an incredible accomplishment for me. That being said, I have 3 bedrooms because I figured- one room for me and each of the boys. Sounds super smart right?

Well, my boys don't sleep there 😂So, I figured, I have 2 extra rooms that I don't use, why not put one to good use? So I started experimenting and here is what I came up with! I was able to get not just one, but TWO gorgeous bouquets from Sheerrose and they turned out amazing. Vanessa modeled them for me and she's also a make up artist so of course, she nailed the beautiful natural look I was going for. I could not be happier with the results. I'm so excited to do more studio sessions and can't wait to show you what I've been up to!

Allie in South Jordan, Utah | Utah Photographer

Lately, the creative juices have been flowing and I finally got to do something that it’s been on my mind for what feels like FOREVER. I’ve always wondered, would I be able to create images I LOVED in not so ideal location? There are obviously the locations we all love. In Utah, it’s Big Cottonwood Canyon, Tibble Fork or the Great Sale Lake. But what if it wasn’t one of these gorgeous locations? Would the pictures be just as good? Keep reading to find out :)

Kara, Friday night & rooftops |UTAH PHOTOGRAPHER|

Kara is a gorgeous model that was brave enough to bear the crazy cold and windy Friday night to get some amazing photos on rooftop during her Friday night. We both braved some crazy Salt Lake City traffic and barely got 45 minutes out of our session because it was that cold! Anytime there is wind it gets that much colder!

When I scheduled the session, I had wanted to do a session in downtown Salt Lake for the longest time I was giddy with excitement when Kara became available. Our session was done right as we started to get more gorgeous sunsets and the days started to get longer, which only got me more excited for the warmer months and more sunset sessions.
