Couples session at Little Sahara Sand Dunes

This gorgeous couple emailed me about doing their session at Little Sahara and I could not have been more excited. I don't do sessions here often because it is quite the drive but it is so worth it! If you're considering doing your session here, DO IT. Yo won't be disappointed. Just be sure to take lots of snacks!

Downtown Salt Lake City Engagements

I've known Amber for a few years now through work and felt so dang lucky that she asked me to photographer her engagement photos. We started at Tavernacle Social Club which is a Piano Bar because that's where their first date was. How cute is that?!

Amazon prime day!

Hi guys! I figured with Prime Day starting today, I'd share some of the eyes I'm either looking at or am getting this year. Hope this helps!

I don't normally get my cards from Amazon, usually go to Target and Best Buy but if you buy them on online, there's on sale for $17!

My top 3 favorite location in Salt Lake City, Utah

With fall sessions gearing up, I though I would share a few of my favorite locations. They are usually good almost any time of year and when I'm struggling on locations, these are mo go tos.

Aiden turns 4! | Daybreak, Utah birthday session

I've been wanting to take pictures like this for the LONGEST time. I love the simplicity of it and how it's all about my little dude. I've been trying my best to get photos of the boys every year but obviously it's hard to plan sessions all the time plus our yearly family photos.

So, I took it upon myself to do these and I must say- not bad! I set these up in my home and can't wait to offer this to my potential clients. If you're looking to do something simple and you're in the South Jordan area, let's get creative!

Gardner family session in Daybreak, Utah

I live in a gorgeous community in Utah called Daybreak which has a big lake. The lake is available to use for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and I've even seen people go swimming! There's a little area that's so dang cute and has this little beach feel. You wouldn't think it was taken in the middle of South Jordan! The popular spots are on the dock but I just love this area and the look it gives. Utah never disappoints and I love finding little gems like this in my backyard.

I had a session set up with this adorable family and while the day was a little cloudy, it still made for a perfect session. Laura (mom), absolutely nailed the outfits, everyone looks adorable and was perfect for the location. When picking your outfits, solid and pallet colors are usually always a win. You don't want to pick anything too bright because it can often reflect on skin and stay away from super thin stripes as they can look funky on the screen.

That little lady up top has the FUNNEST personality and while she looks like her daddy, her personality is 100% like her mom. She's spunky, has attitude and I swear she has the sense of humor as her mom. If you know Laura, you know that it doesn't make any sense! LOL

Indoor portraits and bridals with Sheerrose florals

For the longest time, I've been wanting to get creative in an indoor space. I'm very fortunate to have my own condo in Daybreak, Utah. As a single mom, this was an incredible accomplishment for me. That being said, I have 3 bedrooms because I figured- one room for me and each of the boys. Sounds super smart right?

Well, my boys don't sleep there 😂So, I figured, I have 2 extra rooms that I don't use, why not put one to good use? So I started experimenting and here is what I came up with! I was able to get not just one, but TWO gorgeous bouquets from Sheerrose and they turned out amazing. Vanessa modeled them for me and she's also a make up artist so of course, she nailed the beautiful natural look I was going for. I could not be happier with the results. I'm so excited to do more studio sessions and can't wait to show you what I've been up to!
