Draper Pupppy session | Utah family photographer
I introduce you to.... Puppy sessions! The last few months I've really learned to love studio sessions and the consistency it provides. When Spencer reached out with the idea of doing a session with dogs, I was 100% on board. Did I think I would ever be a puppy photographer? Nope! Do I think it's something I'm going to star offering? YES!
For some, their pets are essentially their babies and I'm all about photographing my clients with their babies. Even if those are fur babies ❤️As I start shifting my business, I'll be doing a lot more studio session in my Draper studio and this session was perfect to do during my first month there!
With my studio sessions, I'll be offering a variety of different options from gray colored paper to white. From lifesytle newborn sessions, child/sibling sessions to family sessions. If you have an idea, let's chat about it! In the mean time, enjoy these puppers.

Tunnel Springs Maternity Session
I've known Laura a few years and was so excited to do her maternity session. I took their photos a few years ago and was so excited to be a part of this new chapter in her life. I appreciate every one of my clients but when a close friend or someone I know me hires me, it's pretty much the biggest compliment.
As a Utah maternity photographer, choosing the right location is always important. Lucky for me, Laura already had an idea in mind. I was so excited when we started talking about locations and she mentioned wanting to do them at Tunnel Springs.
Fall Family Session at Big Cottonwood
With fall just around the corner, its time to plan for fall photos! I've know this adorable family for a couple years now and I had the best time with them and seeing their little lady walking more and less of a teeny baby this time around. We did these last year at Big Cottonwood Canyon and while the leaves hadn't changed yet, I still love how they turned out!
Utah State Capitol family session
I've known Jenifer from an early age. I think we met when I was 8? 10? Who knows. If you know me, you know I tend to forget pretty much everything. Anyway, we've know each other for a long time. Anytime a family member, a friend or anyone I know asks me to take their photos- it seems to hit differently.
It feels like the biggest compliment that they believe and trust in me enough to capture a special moment. I think it also has to do with the fact that they've seen my growth as a photographer over the years. Especially Jen. When I first got started in photography, her son Max was actually one of the first little kiddo I photographed! If you go back far enough, I bet you can find the session somewhere.
Every spring, the blossoms at our Utah State Capitol are a hot spot and for good reason. They're absolutely beautiful and such a unique place. Until most Utah locations, these come up once a year and for short period for a time. They typically last a couple of weeks or less if we get a cold storm which, we usually do.
Another really cool thing about this session? She invited her mom, who is my godmother and her grandma! I'm a firm believer in getting your family photos done every year. If you can add extended family members, grandparents etc- even better!
Take a peak at their cute fam.

Utah Family Session at Little Sahara Sand Dunes
I've known Natalie for a few years now and was so honored when she asked me to photograph her adorable family. The best part was she wanted to do them at Little Sahara sand dunes and it had been a while since I'd gone out there for a session.
The session turned out beautiful and I can't wait to go back and do more sessions there!
