Meet Shyanne and Sebastian! I got to photograph them last
year at the beginning of their relationship and feel so lucky to be a part of
their love story. We did their session on a rooftop and during “harsh” light which
was/is not something I’ve mastered yet. Which is why I thought it would be a
great idea to do it at that time. It was in one of those moments that I was
struggling creatively and needed something different to do. This was definitely
it!
I’d been following Shyanne and we’d talking for
MONTHS before we were able to schedule something. I got to hear a little bit
about how her and Sebastian got to meet. It’s seriously the cutest thing ever.
They started a conversation and if I remember right, started as friends first.
It wasn’t long before Sebastian got to take her on a date and the rest, is
history. On the outside looking in, we see all the good stuff but I have to say
that it proves you can still find you person out there in an organic way
natural way. By wooing the person and showing how much they mean to you.
This girl is seriously one of the most photogenic people I know.
Beyond the fact that she’s STUNNGING, she has an even more beautiful
personality and just shines in front of the camera. Wouldn’t it be awesome if
we could all be this comfortable in front of the camera right?
Afterwards, we had some fun at Publik Coffee located downtown.
It’s a really fun spot with an additional floor. Typically, sun flare is something
some sellers avoid but during this session, I decided to embrace it. We get
caught up in having “perfect” photos that we sometimes don’t give all our
images the credit they deserve. In any other time, I would have NEVER posted
these photos. But I kind of like them J
